**FLASHBACK

The doctor said something she doesn’t want to hear. Not in million years.  

“Min ssi~ There’s nothing I can do. I’m sorry.” The doctor just leaves her hanging. Her legs became numb. She stumbled on the cold floor. Her eyes became teary. She couldn’t believe what she was been told.

She managed to stand up. She slowly made her way to that room. She saw her. Sleeping peacefully on her bed.

“Halmeoni~ wake up. Halmeoni~” she went to her halmeoni’s side and shake her up.

“Halmeoni~ Don’t do this to me~ Jaebalyo~ Halmeoni~ “ She shook her hard. Her tears started to fall.

“Halmeoni~ Kajima! Please wake up. Wake up Halmeoni~” Her sobbing became uncontrollable.

A few nurses came to bring the deceased body away. “Miss.. get hold on yourself. I’m sorry for your loss but we need to take her away~”

“NO! DON’T TOUCH MY HALMEONI!” Her voice was cold. Suddenly a hand landed on her shoulder. Trying to calm her down.

“A-Lya honey~ you have to face the fact that she’s gone. You still have us. “ Us means her parents. Parents who’s always busy with their work. How can she rely on them? They don’t even care much about me when she was here with halmeoni. And the fact that they never visit halmeoni at the very first place!

She just watches those nurses brought her halmeoni away. Away from her.

Many people turned out at halmeoni’s funeral. Her eyes were swollen due to her non-stop sobbing. She searched for him. Yet he was nowhere to be found. It made her even devastated.

She’s been standing there until there’s no one left. She even refused to go home with her parents.

“I wanna stay with halmeoni just a little bit.” She said to her parents when they’re about to leave.

She was very closed to her halmeoni. To her, she was her parents. Her everything. Now that she’s gone, her life seems meaningless.

“Why did you leave me? Take me with you halmeoni~” It’s almost twilight and she’s still there. Suddenly she thought about that person.

She walked throughout the darkness alone. She’s not crying but her tears kept falling. As she’s about to reach her destination, she caught a sight of a familiar person. That person that she’s been looking for the whole day. She’s about to call his name when she saw he’s kissing a girl. And to her surprise she was someone she knew! She’s completely frozen. She quickly hid behind a big tree there.

“Su Rin eonni~ how could you!” She burst into tears and ran home.

BEEP BEEP~

Someone's phone caught A-Lya back to reality. She quickly flipped over to new page.

“Who’s phone is that?” Park sungsaengnim looked as furious as ever! He already mention many times that he wants everyone’s phone off during his class.

The class was completely silent. No one dares to speak up.

“Is it you Shin Hae Ra?” he was looking at our direction. TRUST ME, I was sweating like a pig on that moment. Screw you Hae Ra!

“err.. err..” Hae Ra’s startled. She’s unable to speak.

“I know it’s you. It’s been 3 times already. Don’t you understand Korean Hae Ra ssi? Do you want me to speak Engrish with you?”

“err.. no.. sungsaengnim. Mianhamnida! Mianhamnida!” She stood up and bowed 90 degrees TWICE!

“I let you go today. Since I’m feeling good today. But this is my last warning, do it again~ you’re out of my class! ARASSEO?”

“Ney arasseo sungsaengnim! I promised I won’t do it again. Gamsahamnida!” she bowed again.

Park sungsaengnim is really scary sometime. Just because he’s raised in America, he always threatened that he’ll speak Engrish whenever he wants to punish someone -_- Because of his good looks, I used to hear that people say he was in an Idol group back in his teenage age. Surprise huh? I tried to find it on Daum and Naver, but I find nothing. They said he was banned in Korea. Seriously?! How come he’s in Korea now?

“Yah~ I’ve told you to switch off your phone right?!” I gave Hae Ra the most deadliest glare ever. I just don't like making a scene in class. And not in Park sungsaengnim's class -_-

“I know right! But I forgot!” She quickly changed her phone to silent mode. Aish this girl. Switch off will you!

I looked at A-Lya. She seems lost again. Is she okay? She seems to be writing something on her notebook. I tried to peek on it.

It says, “Dujun Oppa~ I missed you~” suddenly she looked at me. I looked away. I was thinking hard, who is Dujun Oppa? o_O

“Yah~ what’s wrong?” The busy body Hae Ra whispered to me.

“Nothing~” I don’t think share about it with Hae Ra is a good thing. Not yet.

When Park sungsaengnim was busy writing on the board, Hae Ra quickly checked her phone.

“Omo~!” there she goes again. In her dreamland again.

“Yah~! Stop it! Check later~” I just need to bring her back to reality. I can such a nerdy sometimes. But having a friend like her, I just need to be -_-

“HyunSeung oppa wants to walk me home. “ she keeps on giggling.

“ehhhh~~ then how about me?!” I felt so left out!

Pointing at my side, “A-Lya?”

I gave her seriously-you-are-kidding-me-look to her?! She mouthed sorry to me. Aishh.

On the other side of school.

“Dongwoonie~ why are you so quiet today?” Yoseob was curious looking at him today.

“I’m not”

“I know~ you’ve been thinking about that new girl right?” Yoseob knew he nailed it! They’ve been friends for ages. How can he not know his friend’s behaviour.

“I’m not!”

“Yah~ Sohn DongWoon! Do you think I just met you for a second?”

“…”

“You like her right? Wahhhhh~ she’s definitely one of a kind right?!”

DongWoon was brought back to this morning scene. How could she just bow? Why she didn’t shake my hand back? Waeeeeeeee? He kept asking himself.

But dang~ she’s really unique. Even her name! Min A-Lya. Min A-Lya. I won’t forget you. EVER!

As he’s back to reality he looked at HyunSeung who’s now madly in love with Dayya’s best friend, Hae Ra. I seriously have no idea what he saw in her -_- He’s been texting her ever since -_- Don’t he get tired?

At the corner he saw JunHyung who’s always in his own world. But he looked effin cool like that. That’s one of major factor why girls are after him. His overloaded coolness.

And this crazy kid who’s been looking at me ever since, “Yah~! Cut it out! People might think you have a crush on me!”

“What if I say I am?” Yoseob said in most seducing act ever! He definitely gave me goosebumps.

“Fcuk off! I.Like.Yoja.Not.Namja. ARASSEO Yong Yoseob ssi?”

“Ouch. Neomu appa~ I lost to that new kid right Sohn DongWoon?” Yoseob couldn’t hold his laughter any longer and he burst into a big laugh.

School ended for the day. Like finally. Since Hae Ra is walking home with her so called prince charming, I was alone. A-Lya was nowhere to be found. She’s vanished as the bell rang. She’s now a mysterious girl. Is she for real? O_o

Out of nowhere, a black Nissan Fairlady stopped in front of him. I was like WTF! I could have been killed! A super hot guy hop off from this sexy car and pulled away his shades.

My eyes became teary, “Oppa! You’re back!”
