Day 19

Nicknames you have; why do you have them

well I have to say that I have lots of nicknames. from i was a baby up until now. countless. okay tipu. I'll just list out nicknames that people still use to call me :)

Kakak

my family and cousins call me kakak. some girls from KKB and Jengka call me kakak as well. it's for fun. and i missed those moments :(

Nadiaz

how did this nickname come out? back then in primary school, I share my own name with many other girls. what to do, my name is too lovable. HAHA. in my class alone, there were 4 Nadias. Nadia Zailan, Nadia Mahat, Nadiatul Aimi, Nadja Nadia. People often had this problem calling me and Nadia Mahat. so they came out with this one solution. I couldn' remember who's brilliant idea was it, but they combined our dad's names with ours. so my name's now Nadiaz. They took only my dad's initial. same goes to Nadia Mahat. So mostly who call me by Nadiaz are from my primary school until secondary school (until form 3). 

Diaz

They cut this nickname from Nadiaz. Maybe they think Nadiaz is rather too long to say, so they shortened it a bit. HAHA. so mostly who call me by Diaz are my close friends. I can say orang2 tertentu sahaja boleh panggil actually. for instance, i have this problem not saving my friends' contacts in my phone so if they text me, they normally screamed, "Diazzzzzz!!" so it's kinda easy for me to detect who is it. 

Sepet/Saypet

This nickname I didn't setup on my own. because of my slit eyes, people tend to call me that name. well, i'm not mad. I am sepet anyway, there's no need to be mad of. I'm proud anyway ^^ but back then, people use it to tease me. but when i entered KKB people recognized me by that name. there were many Nadias in that school too. I've never been to somewhere where I'm the only Nadia. sigh. okay back to my story. if they ask for me, they'll ask, "which Nadia?" "Nadia yang sepet tuh." then people sort of knew which Nadia they're talking about. HAHA. my classmates called me Sepet. and I'm okay with it. somehow, i missed people called me by sepet :)

Neng

we were playing actually. the girls in Jengka since we're staying at hostel. it was me and my roommates and some other girls. my roommates was the Mak Tiri, my other friend was Mak Kandung and another one was their child. HAHA. so i didn't know what to be. so i said, let me be the maid. Bibik sounded so common so i asked them to call me Neng. HAHA. so they started to call me Neng ever since. HAHA. i don't know how, but maybe since the girls been calling me Neng in class, so the boys joined them calling me Neng. it was cute. i missed them :(
