It’s been days after my noraebang session with the girls. Omma said nothing when I got home. I made it just in time. Omma was preparing the table when I got home. So I guess she didn’t suspect anything? I don't really like to listen to omma's nag without appa's around. He's like my super guidance. Protecting me from omma.

I never talked about my father right? Where in the world is he? He’s currently working in Malaysia. Why didn’t he bring us along? He’s afraid that it would be hard for me and oppa to cope with things there. Plus we need to master the Engrish very well. And Malay? The only Malay sentence that I know is “Apa khabar?” which meant “How are you?” So it would be my worst nightmare to learn both languages! >.<

The good news is, he’ll be back this weekend. For two weeks. He’ll be with us here. I really missed him. A lot! I hope he would bring something from Malaysia.

Things were doing great in school. We’re getting better with A-Lya. She always talked whenever she got the chance. It was quite surprising. But she’s just talkative whenever she was with us. She won’t speak a thing if she was with someone else.

Perhaps she’s too carried away about the loss of her grandmother back then. Plus it’s been a new thing living here in Seoul. I bet she’s scared of Hae Ra during her first day for being over-friendly. But it bothered me a lot when my brother kept asking about her. I guess he fall under her spell. WOW. Someone actually took my player brother’s heart away. That’s really something. Even my pretty best friend Hae Ra failed to put my brother under her spell. Hae Ra’s pretty. No doubt about that. Plus she had the S-line like the famous model. Maybe my brother thinks she’s too crazy for her good looks. Well, I had to agree on that.

How about my tutor session? Oh I don’t wanna even think about it.

From the corner of that well-decorated room, A-Lya was listening to her iPod using her pink coloured Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. She really loves that headphone as it was a gift from someone whom always in her mind.

FLASHBACK**

She was sitting alone at her grandma’s lawn, suddenly a pair of hand covered her eyes. No need to ask, she already knew who was it.

“Oppa~” She’s trying to pull away the hands.

“How come you know it’s me?” That person showed himself in front of her. Smiling.

“I just know.” Stucking out her tongue and playfully punched his shoulder.

“Ouch~ It hurts~” He acted like she’s hurting him.

“Stop playing oppa~” She played with his hair. She know he hated that so much.

“Hey stop playing with my hair. This is one of my assets. Ara?” A-Lya laughed seeing his silliness.

“So what’s up?” A-Lya wondered why was him here.

Although she was so happy to see him around her, she couldn’t help but to feel curious.

“Aigoo this girl. I was about to surprise you! You spoiled my plan already.”

She laughed. “You’re too slow!” -_-

He shoved her a baby blue wrapped box.

She was surprised. “What’s this for?” She’s trying to figure out by shaking the box.

“Happy birthday Min A-Lya~ I hope you’ll like it.” A-Lya didn’t even remember that; that day was her birthday. No one wished her. Yeah. No one. He was the first to wish her. She became emotional. She was touched that he actually remembered her birthday. She’s trying to hold her tears.

She carefully opened the box, “Omo~!” She was shocked to see a pink coloured Beats by Dr. Dre headphones inside. That thing was forever listed in her wish list ever since.

“Do you like it?” He asked.

“I love it! Really really really really! I really do!” She excitedly told him that. “Thank you oppa!” She was so happy that she hugged him. He was shocked but he hugged her back. She wished the time to stop.

“DuJun ah~” That voice broke their hug. She hated that person for interrupting her moment. But she just could do nothing. She loved that person too.

“Ahh SuRin ahh~” She smiled at them. She sat beside A-Lya.

“Oh what’s that?” She asked about A-Lya’s present.

“It’s my birthday present to A-Lya.” DuJun explained.

“Oh it’s your birthday? Happy birthday A-Lya!” She gave her a warmth hug.

“I’m sorry I didn’t prepare anything. I didn’t know it’s your birthday.”

“So what brings you here eonni?”

“Oh I was looking for DuJun. But he’s not at his house. So I guess he should be here. And here he is.”

“Why? Miss me SuRin?” All of us laughed at him. He’s always being too full of himself.

“We had a date remember!” A date? That word stung in A-Lya’s head. A date? They are dating? A-Lya kept asking herself questions.

“Ahhh~ I almost forgot.” He looked at A-Lya who seemed away.

“Do you want to join us A-Lya?”

A-Lya looked up to see both of them. “It’s okay. I’ve got work to do.” She lied.

“Are you sure you don’t wanna join us?” DuJun asked her again. She just nodded and gave him a bitter smile.

“Too bad that you don’t want to join us.” SuRin stood up followed by DuJun.

“See ya around A-Lya. Enjoy your birthday donsaeng~” DuJun said before they left.

Donsaeng? Donsaeng? Her heart sank hearing that word came out from his mouth. She solemnly walked inside the house. Little that she know, DuJun was looking back all the time as he walked away.

Ever since that day, he kept thinking about her. Her eyes. Her lips. Her nose. Her hair. Her everything. He even is imagining things right now. He wondered why was he like this? He wanted to approach her, but he was afraid that he might look like retard doing that.

Everyday he will bump into her. He purposely walked through the hallway of the juniors’ classroom. The sight of made his heart beat as fast as the speed of light. Or faster?

Is this what they call “LOVE”? It couldn’t be. He shook his head.

He rolled himself to each sides of his bed, trying to shed her off his mind. He can’t. She’s now all over his mind. He thinks he’s going crazy now.
