Winter break was over.

Hae Ra looked as pale as if she just saw a ghost.

She sat down at the bench, waiting for the bus.

Her eyes looked like she was just crying hard.

I wandered around in front of Hae Ra’s house.

I’ve been calling her cell, but she didn’t pick up. A-Lya also did the same but still no answer from Hae Ra.

It was HyunSeung sunbaenim who asked me for Hae Ra since she didn’t turn up on their date.

It’s pretty unusual for Hae Ra to ditch her beloved prince charming.

Hae Ra felt dizzy. She felt like everything around her was spinning around.

She boarded a bus.

She sat at the most behind seat. Leaning on the window, she closed her eyes.

FLASHBACK**

She was happily dressed up. She had a date with her prince charming today. She stole a glance of herself on the mirror before went out.

To her surprised, that guy was there.

“You~” He pointed at her. “Come here.”

She gasped. She didn’t know what to do as she felt like her body was numb. 

He came closer. She was shivering. 

“Follow me.” He grabbed her hand and dragged her away.

She’s trying to free herself, but it was pretty useless. He was too strong for her.

She was scared thinking what he might do to her.

END OF FLASHBACK**

“Hae Ra ah~ Where are you?” – Dayya

I sent her a message.

Seconds later, I sent another message.

“Hae Ra ah~ Gwenchana? Where are you? Pick up the phone okay?” – Dayya

I kept looking at my phone, hoping Hae Ra would at least text back.

None.

This was making me crazy.

I wandered around back and forth.

In front of Hae Ra’s house were me, A-Lya and HyunSeung sunbaenim.

HyunSeung sunbaenim kept asking me about Hae Ra. Oh dear, I really had no idea where was she right now. Stop asking will ya?

But I couldn’t say that. He was so worried about her at this moment.

Hae Ra kept leaning on the window. She kept sitting there ignoring people around her.

FLASHBACK**

That guy brought her to a café.

“Here.” That guy gave her a thick envelope.

“What’s this?” She asked.

“Check it yourself.” He smirked before sipping his hot cappuccino.

Hae Ra took the envelope, trying to figure out what’s inside.

She slowly opened the envelope.

She was speechless. 

She was holding some pictures of someone she thought she knew.

Her prince charming.

She looked at all pictures. She felt like her heart stop beating when she saw the last picture.

That anonymous guy was hugging her prince charming from behind and gave him a peck on his cheek.

Her hand was shaking. Tears started to form.

“What’s the meaning of this?” She threw those pictures to that anonymous guy’s face.

He smirked again and looked right into her eyes. “Can’t you tell?”

He picked up those pictures. “We used to be so happy together before you come.”

His expression became tight. “I’ve told you numerous times, leave him. But you didn’t.”

“I don’t wanna hurt you. I’ve warned you.” He paused. “He’s mine. And I do not wish to share him with anyone else.”

“Leave him or you’ll suffer.” He stood up, gathered all the pictures. He left Hae Ra alone with the pictures.

END OF FLASHBACK**

Tears started to roll down.

She couldn’t hold it any longer. She broke down.

I sat beside A-Lya, leaning on her shoulder. I was tired looking for Hae Ra.

Suddenly I caught a sight of Hae Ra. I stood up.

We rushed towards her, but HyunSeung sunbaenim made it first.

“Hae Ra ah~ I’ve been looking all over for you. Where have you been?” HyunSeung asked in worried tone.

She didn’t even look at him. She just walked pass him.

Something’s wrong here.

“Hae Ra ah~!” I called her.

She looked up.

I was shocked to see her. She looked horrible.

“Omo~ Hae Ra ah~ Gwenchana?” A-Lya asked.

She smiled weakly and nodded to us.

She’s not okay. I know she wasn’t.

“Hae Ra ah~” HyunSeung grabbed her hand.

Hae Ra stopped.

“Let go.” Her tone was serious.

She didn't even look at him.

HyunSeung was stunned. A-Lya and I also were puzzled by this situation.

HyunSeung let go of her. She walked inside her house, she didn’t turn back.

“We’ll look after her. I’ll let you know later.” I tried to calm HyunSeung.

On that moment, all of us were curious what had happened to her.
