I'm trying to update as soon as I got back. This is the fastest I could. LOL.

The second day started super early. We asked Ibrahim (our TukTuk driver) to pick us up at 4.30AM local time. FYI, we haven't buy our ticket to Angkor Wat yet. From what I've read from few bloggers, they bought their tickets a day before after 4PM local time. From then they're start selling entrance tickets for the next day.
We were way far to get to Angkor Wat on our first day to get our tickets so Ibrahim told us it's okay to buy it tomorrow (our second day). Though we doubt it. Cause we were afraid that the queue would be super long and we would miss the sunrise.
The journey to Angkor Wat from our hotel was quite scary for me as the major roads used very dimmed lights or none. We safely arrived at the Angkor Wat ticket booth. The queue was not that bad. It was fast enough for us to get the tickets. You would have your picture taken and printed on your ticket. And keep your ticket safe as they would check your ticket at every temple entrance.

First selfie of the day while queuing up for the ticket |
It was dark and we were depending on our phone's flashlight to help us moving. I never thought they would be so many people to watch the sunrise. I guess this would be one of major highlight of visiting Angkor Wat. Lucky us we found a pretty decent spot for us to capture the sunrise.

Subhanallah. I gotta admit the view was spectacular. |

Get ready to be spammed by our selfies :P

It is essential for you to have a fan or a hat to shield yourself from the UV rays. And it was super hot, so a fan is definitely a MUST.

After all it was worth it. We
spent hours taking many good shots. It turned out like an outdoor
photoshoot for us. It was tiring, trust me. Even though Angkor Wat
history was in our syllabus back then, I remember nothing. LOL. Sorry
cikgu.
We then made our move to the next temple; Bayon. You could say that we were so into our visit in Angkor Wat that we were already dead tired at our second temple. But we could never leave our passion in the 'photoshoot' tour.

We skipped some of the temples and proceed to the infamous temple, the Angelina Jolie temple or the Tomb Raider temple. FYI, the original name is Ta Phrom.

Most of the temples were under construction on conserving the structures and what not. So some of the sections were closed to public. Same goes to the famous spot for one of the scene in Tomb Raider. Oh well.
Oh I almost forgot. On our way into the temple, we were halted when we bumped into this family of three. They couldn't speak English, one of the lady kept on gesturing her hand like she wanted to snap a photo.so we thought, she wanted our help to snap her family's photo. We were wrong. SHE ACTUALLY WANTED A PHOTO WITH US! Maybe because of our hijab or what, we looked pretty outstanding? LOL. So we took a picture together. Later her son requested to snap a picture with us too. It was awkwardly funny. Seriously it was so random. We couldn't register what just happened into our mind for quite sometime. That family was from Russia. It was interesting.
Drenched in sweats, we thought we cannot take it anymore. We didn't manage to take any breakfast. Just a bottle of cold plain water provided by Ibrahim to give us energy. Before heading back to the hotel, we filled our empty stomach at the same Halal restaurant as yesterday.
We were super tired from the tour, we ended up sleeping like a pig. Farah already lost herself on the TukTuk on our way to have our lunch. Peacefully slept on your TukTuk ride, where else could you experience that?
We went to Angkor Wat again for watch the setting of Sun in Phnom Bakheng. I had no idea that we had to hike up the hills to capture the moments. Me is very bad at this, I mean any physical activities. And my body was really unfit. We were just 1/4 way up but I was already out of breath. I hardly breathe, to be honest. I kept quite as I didn't want to drain my energy by talking. The route suddenly became steep and it was making harder for me. There was a checkpoint but I thought that I could make it to the top. I did but I felt like dying. I was afraid I might pass out so I quickly find a place to rest myself. I felt sorry to Farah for having an unfit friend. LOL.
I really didn't expect myself to be this unfit. Gotta admit that it's been ages since my last physical outdoor activities. Being totally caught up with work, I didn't really take a good care of my body. Skipping meals is one thing, but I didn't exercise; even a simple one. I think I should start now before it gets worst.
I asked Farah to wait first before we climb the stairs to the top of the temple. We still have an hour more before sunset. The queue started to get longer. We were puzzled as why they didn't let those people up. Little that we know, they only allow 300 people to be up there at one time. So we quickly joined the rest to queue up. Unfortunately for us, not so many people came down. We became anxious as we had no idea if we ever get lucky to be one of the 300 people up there.
Our patience were tested but we made it to the TOP! Thanks to those who were satisfied with their sunset view and decided to go back, thank you so much. Thanks for making the long wait worth it. I thought I was fine when climbing up the steep stairs. I was okay until I finally on top. I was out of my breath, again. I cursed inside. I just sit on the floor, I need to catch my breath. I need to breathe properly. Gosh, that was really bad. I was scared. Seriously, I'll be damned if something bad happened. Alhamdulillah, everything went fine afterwards. I just to bear in my mind that I need to get fit. YOSH!

That massive cloud was too beautiful |
We were soaking wet with sweats the whole time in Angkor Wat. Before we went to the night markets on our last night in Siem Reap, we headed back to hotel first to settle down. Since we had late lunch that day, we didn't feel like taking dinner yet. Farah's friend recommended us to try the ice creams in "Blue Pumpkin".

Ice-cream dah habis. Maaf |
Our long day ended with a super good massage at USD8 in Pub Street. Not a full body massage but just head + neck + back + foot massage. It was really really good. That was it for the second day.
Nothing much happened for the third day. Just a quick shopping at the old markets and rushed to the airports. It's definitely a good trip here. I shall come back again to explore Angkor Wat.
